Note
NI cannot recover lost system passwords. If you forget the
password, you must contact NI and reformat the controller.

Login using the new credentials.

Remote File Browser
button in the toolbar.

Browse to

and double click the
motion_config.ini
file to open it.

Change the IP address in the file and click
Save Changes
.
8.
Click the
Network Configuration
button in the toolbar, and update the
IPv4 Address
field with the new IP address.
9.
When prompted, restart the controller.
To verify the IP address is updated, enter the new IP address into Internet Explorer to open the
NI Web-Based Configuration and Monitoring utility. Login to the utility and repeat steps 5-6
and verify that the IP address is correct in the file.
If the controller cannot be found or is incorrectly configured, contact NI to restore the original
settings.
Verifying System Setup
Before you begin using the mmWave OTA Validation Anechoic Chamber, refer to the
following sections to verify the external and internal hardware connections, configure
instrument settings in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), and connect the chamber
to a client PC.
External Connections
The external chamber connections differ depending on your chamber configuration. Refer to
the following figures to ensure that all required instrumentation is properly configured with the
chamber before use.

The following figures do not show the PXIe-5831 installed in the chassis or the
required connections between the PXIe-5831 and mmRH-5582. Refer to the
PXIe-5831 Getting Started Guide
