Browse to the
Results File
(CSV) location or use the default.
Note
The name of the results file is appended with the date and time to avoid
overwriting the file.
Configuring Measurement Settings
1.
On the
Measurement Settings
tab, select the
Frequency
that you want to measure. If
you want to test multiple frequencies, specify the
Start
and
Stop
frequency and the
Step
size.
2.
Select the
Test Polarization
of the port to measure.
3.
Select the
Test Personalities
for the measurement.
Select
SingleTone
to perform the measurement using a single-tone waveform. The NR
Measurement Settings are disabled if
SingleTone
is selected.
4.
Click
Open RFmx SFP
and configure the receiver settings based on the generator
waveform.
a)
In the RFmx SFP, click
Add/Remove
in the
Measurements
section and select the
following measurement types:
Adjacent Channel Power
(ACP),
Channel Power
(CHP),
Error Vector Magnitude
(EVM),
Occupied Bandwidth
(OBW),
Spectral
Emission Mask
(SEM).
Tip
For the
Adjacent Channel Power
measurement, set the
Sweep
Time
to
200 ms
to avoid memory overflow when running in Autonomous
Mode.
b)
After you configure all the measurement settings in the RFmx SFP, do not close the
RFmx SFP window and return to the mmWave OTA Validation Configurator.
The
NR Measurement Status
section displays the status of the measurements that
you configured in the RFmx SFP.
5.
If you enabled the EVM measurement, select either
At Peak
to measure EVM at the
beam position with peak power or select
All Positions
to measure EVM at every position.
Configuring Positioner Settings
1.
On the
Positioner
tab, verify the
Positioner Plugin Folder
lists the folder that contains
the positioner plugins. The default directory for the positioner plugin folder is located at
<NIDir>
\
<LabVIEW 20xx>
\user.lib\OTA Test\Plugins\Positioners\PPL
.
If the folder path changes, click the
Refresh
