UNIT PROGRAMMING
RESET FACTORY DEFAULTS
All
programming parameters of DS6 can be reset back to the DEFAULT
SETTINGS (as detailed on pages 15-16) by entering
13579
while in the
Programming Mode.
REMOTE PROGRAMMING
You can also call DS6 from another telephone and Program its functions via
a telephone call from a remote location.

To enter Programming Mode via a Remote Telephone :

Dial the site (or extension) number

once the call has been answered.

PROGRAMMING NOTES
1. The following notes provide important information about the
programming procedure :
2. To enter PROGRAMMING MODE you must turn OFF POWER to your
unit and then switch POWER ON AGAIN.
3. Using ANY TELEPHONE connected to
DS6,
PRESS # within 30
seconds. If your DS6 is not connected to a telephone line, then you
must insert the supplied ‘RJ12 Looping Plug’ into the Line In port.
4. You will hear 3 short ‘beeps’ to confirm you are in programming mode.
5. Individual Parameter Programming Entries are also carried out by
pressing further keys on the attached telephone.
6. Your unit will generate 1 short ‘beep’ to confirm acceptance of
command. Your unit will generate 1 long ‘beep’ to advise of an entry
error.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Note - After each power up DS6 will prepare to enter programming mode for 30
seconds. During this time, dial tone is not available.
You can cancel out of this mode (before the 30 second limit) and achieve dial tone
by Hook Flashing, Hanging Up OR pressing any DTMF Touch Tone digit other
than #.
