5.2. Performance
NOTE
The performance graphs show the performance of the pumps in terms of flow rate (Q), head (H) and
absorbed electrical power (P1). The graphs show average values with a tolerance of 15% and are
related to a water temperature of 20 °C (68 °F) and a density of 1 kg / m
3
.
The photovoltaic power (Pp) that must be installed to obtain the desired performance must be at
least equal to the electrical power (P1) absorbed by the pump at the working point. To take into
account the losses due to the temperature of the photovoltaic modules and other factors, increase
the photovoltaic power by 20% compared to the absorbed electrical power.
