Fluid Solenoid Replacement
•
Disconnect air and electrical supply.
•
Remove anti spatter fluid reservoir,
item
1
. (3/4” wrench)
•
WARNING: Contents may spill.
•
Remove bottom nut,
item 2
, of
compression fitting. (9/16” wrench)
•
Disconnect wires from the terminal block
board (
refer to the wiring diagram
included)
•
Remove (2) #8-32 socket head cap
screws,
item 3,
that secure fluid solenoid
to spray plate. (9/64” hex drive)
•
Remove fluid solenoid,
item 4.
•
Follow steps in reverse order to
reassemble unit. (
Note: if older solenoid
is being replaced, the holding bracket
is no longer needed.)
•
When tightening bottom nut,
item 3, DO
NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
Note: Bottom compression nut,
item 2,
included in
replacement kit is extra and not required for the repair.
