The DTE verifies its registration state and enables automatic registration using the “Ask” mode.

The A3LA-RS is capable of accepting mobile terminated data calls. The following is a sequence of

commands that can be used to establish the connection.

+SBDRING

A3LA-RS indicates an incoming message.
The RI line also toggles.

AT+SBDIXA

DTE initiates an SBD session in answer to

the automatic notification

A3LA-RS informs DTE that a 90-byte

message was successfully received with

MTMSN 237, and that two further MT

messages are queued at the GSS
