select OK and return to the RAID Configuration
Summary screen.

To apply the configuration, use the arrow key if necessary to
select Apply, then press Enter,

Cancel, then press Enter.
When you apply the new configuration, RAID EzAssist writes configuration
information to the Mylex controller. This takes a few moments, so a message
is displayed (Figure 1-6).
Field Description
RAID Level For 1 disk drive = JBOD
For 2 disk drives = RAID 1
For 3 or more disk drives = RAID 5
Stripe Block Size For 1 disk drive = n/a
For 2 or more disk drives = 16 KB
Cache Line Size Equal to the Stripe Block Size
Read Cache Normal (Mylex default)
Write Cache Write-Thru (Mylex default)
