Connecting Cables

Connect the power cables from the power supply to
the system board. Then install any ribbon cables

from

the internal peripheral controllers to the disk drive(s)

and I/O port connectors. Be sure the red or blue stripe
along the edge of the ribbon cable is connected to Pin

See figure l-7.

Note:

Pin 1 for all the

interfaces is marked by both

the number and a white triangle located in the corner
of the connector.

Connect all the control panel cables. See figure l-8.
