5.
Operation
Before operating the tool, the following steps must be carried out each time to ensure the tool works
properly. Check the following points:
5.1
Transport
When transporting, ensure the heating clamp is only transported or stored when they is closed. This
protects the heating surfaces best from damage.
5.2
Position
The tool may only placed on an even and suitable surface.
Heating clamps must only be put on surfaces that can withstand maximum temperatures of 230°C.
5.3
Electrical voltage
The existing mains voltage must be suitable for the tools' operating voltage.

Tip
All accessories must be clean. This means there must be no residues on these compo-
nents.
5.5
Damage
Heating clamps may only be operated in their original undamaged state. Check important compo-
nents (e.g. bolts, screws, top and bottom part) before operating.
Caution
Risk of injury! Damaged heating clamps must not be used.
