The following document contains important information on serious risks when operating the tool de-
scribed or important technical information on the tool or processes used. Symbols are used to high-
light this important information and indicate as follows:

General safety information
The tools outlined in this document are state of the art and manufactured according to technical
safety regulations. However, even when the tool or processes described are used properly, health
risks, that can be fatal to the user or third parties or damage to the tool and other property may oc-
cur. For this reason please observe the following general safety information:
Only use the tool when in perfect technical order, correctly and be aware of the safety and risks out-
lined in these operating instructions.
Ensure in particular that any disruptions that may affect safety are put right immediately.
Proper usage means observing the operating instructions and adhering to service and maintenance
regulations.

Organisational safety steps
Always keep these operating instructions at the place where the tool is used.

In addition to these operating instructions, abide by general legal and other obligatory regulations
on accident prevention and environmental protection; ensure that appropriate training sessions are
held.
In addition to these operating instructions, also provide instruction, including supervisory and report-
ing obligations, to reflect special features in your company, e.g. regarding job organisation, working
procedures and personnel employed.
Ensure that personnel responsible for using the tool described have read the operating instructions
and the chapter on safety instructions in particular.
At proper intervals use an appropriate method to check that the personnel using the tool described
does so properly according to instructions and is aware of safety and risks.
Personnel using the tool described, must have long hair tied back and may not wear loose clothing
or jewellery including rings. Otherwise there is a risk of injury from these getting caught or pulled in
to the tool.
Make sure that all the tool's safety and risk instructions are observed and that they are always legi-
ble and complete.
Changes, additions or modifications to the tool affect safety and are not permitted.
Spare parts must comply with the technical requirements laid down by the manufacturer.
