Figure 3: Fitting the Battery Pack

The transceiver has the following indicators:

LCD

A 14-character alphanumeric display. This displays paging call
messages, and transceiver and system status messages.

Tx KEY

Lights when the transmitter is active.

ALERT

Lights when a paging call has been received.

OPERATION

Fitting the Battery Pack

Refer to Figure 3. Hold the battery against the transceiver as shown in Figure 3. Slide
the battery pack onto the lower edge of the transceiver until it clicks into position.

Removal is a reversal of the above procedure, but press the battery button before
releasing the battery pack.
