INTRODUCTION
1. The P665 Alignment Jig has been designed to facilitate alignment of RPR 560-series
transceivers. It allows accurate measurement of sensitivity, eliminating the need for
verification in a TEM Cell.
2. The P665 consists of:
a) The alignment jig, comprising a receptacle for the transceiver with rear case
removed. An audio connection from SK301 is provided for receiver alignment,
and a BNC connector for injecting RF into the receiver.
b) A Test Probe for measurement of frequency and output level of the transmitter.
c) A double-ended 14-way Cable Assembly for interconnecting the radio to the
decoder board when fault-finding.
d) A single-ended 14-way cable for connection to the test socket when fault finding,
this can be configured to the technician's requirements.
e) Spacers, to allow secure location of the transceiver when fitted with battery packs
other than P565 (1200mAH version).
