The switch that is delivered with the
PeroBravo
is a „Force Sensing Resistor“ (FSR) which re-
alizes whether it is pressed or not. Depending on the setting for heel- (default) or toe-operation
the current is turned off or triggered. The connection of the foot-switch to the jack that is named
FOOT in the head of the device makes the use of the programs 13-16 possible. All the other
programs become deactivated if the foot-switch is connected.

Usually the switch is placed in the shoe under the heel of the paretic foot (see drawing below).
Only in the very rare cases that the heel doesn‘t allow any contact, the switch may be placed
under the footpad of the healthy foot. In this case TOE-operation must be adjusted (s.p. 53).

So that the switch does not slip during the training of walking, we recommend securing it with a
suitable adhesive tape to the desired position.
The switch is intended for use on one single patient only.
