Important safety
notices
2.1 General safety information

Carefully read this entire operating
manual.
E
Keep this operating manual in a read-
ily accessible location for everyone
who uses, cleans, disinfects, stores or
transports the device.
E
Always include this operating manual
when passing the device on to other
persons.
E
Follow the safety regulations applica-
ble to micropigmentation in your coun-
try. Keep your workstation in a hy-
gienic, clean condition and provide
sufficient lighting.
E
Use the device, its accessories and all
handpiece cables only in perfect tech-
nical condition.
E
Only use original needle cartridges,
accessories and spare parts from
MT.DERM GmbH.
2.2 Product-dependent safety
information

Never modify the device, the power
supply or other accessories.
E
Prevent fluids from entering the de-
vice and the power supply plug.
E
Protect the device with a plastic sheet
during use.
E
Disconnect the power supply when the
device is not in use.
E
Route all cables so that they cannot
kink.
E
Observe the technical data (see chap-
ter 4.1 on page 31) specified in this
operating manual and observe the op-
erating conditions (see chapter 4.2 on
page 31) and transport and storage
conditions
(see chapter 8 on
page 39).

Hand over the device to a specialist re-
tailer for inspection if it exhibits any
external signs of damage, does not
function as usual or fluids have run
into the device or handpiece.
E
It is recommended that the device be
handed over to a specialist retailer for
inspection at regular intervals of 24
months. Observe chapter 7.1 on
page 38 for this.
2.3 Important hygiene and safety
regulations
Please observe the following instructions
to prevent contamination or infectious
diseases from being transmitted to the
client or user during treatment:

Before treatment, follow all the steps
required to disinfect the equipment
(see chapter 5.5 on page 35).

During treatment, wear disposable ni-
trile or latex gloves and disinfect them
before use. When selecting an appro-
priate disinfectant, take note of the ap-
plicable regulations in your country.

Before treatment, clean the affected
areas of the client's skin with a mild
cleanser and disinfectant. When se-
lecting an appropriate disinfectant,
take note of the applicable regulations
in your country.
