If a longer signal tone sounds during on-
going operation of the handpiece and the
message CONNECT HANDPIECE or SYS-
TEM OVERLOAD appears on the display:

Ensure that the handpiece cable for
the handpiece is connected correctly.
If three consecutive longer signal tones
sound and the message SYSTEM ERROR
appears on the display:
E
Ensure that you only use the power
supply included in the scope of deliv-
ery.
E
Disconnect the device from the voltage
supply by pulling the power supply
plug out of the socket.
E
Re-connect the voltage supply.
E
If this fault occurs frequently, perform
all steps in chapter 9.2 on page 40.
9.2 Eliminating malfunctions of the
device

First, disconnect the device from the
power supply, from the optional foot
switch and from the handpiece.
E
Check all connections and re-connect
the components.
E
Check the functions of the device once
again.
E
If functional problems persist, and if
you have any questions or complaints,
please contact the specialist retailer
responsible.

For this product, the statutory warranty
period applies to radio interference prob-
lems resulting from defects in material
and workmanship.
We guarantee sterility for the needle car-
tridges with delivery of sealed and un-
damaged packaging. For complaints re-
lating to needle cartridges, please advise
us of the lot number printed on the label.
The warranty does not apply to the fol-
lowing damage:

Accident, misuse, abuse or alteration

Servicing by unauthorized persons
O
Connection to inappropriate power
sources
O
Use with unauthorized accessories
O
Use for anything other than indicated
in this instruction for use

Damage arising from the ingress of
fluids or dirt into the inside of the de-
vice or power supply.
