Time
The EDS-728 has a time calibration function based on information from an NTP server or user
specified Time and Date information. Functions such as Auto warning “Email” can add real-time
information to the message.
NOTE
The EDS-728 does not have a real time clock. The user must update the
Current Time
and
Current Date
to set the initial time for the EDS-728 after each reboot, especially when the
network doesn’t have an Internet connection for NTP server or there is no NTP server on the
LAN.

Daylight saving time (also know as

hour) during the summer time to provide an extra hour of daylight in the afternoon.
