14. Do not pull the extension cord over edges or sharp and spiky objects and do not brake it, for example,
under doors and over window frames.
15. While working, the protective shield of the cutting head has to be installed and the grass trimmer shall
be in a position with the protective shield facing the operator.
16. Do not remove the plug from the outlet by pulling the cable. Instead, pull out the plug itself.
17. Exercise increased care while working in chaotic, densely overgrown terrain.
18. Do not leave the trimmer in the rain outside!
19. Do not cut wet grass! Do not use the trimmer in rain!
20. Hold the extension cord in a way as to prevent its contact with the rotating nylon string.
21. When transporting the trimmer for a short distance (for example, to a different location), release the
switch and disconnect the plug.
22. Be careful not to slide when working on slopes or uneven terrain.
23. Cut grass on slopes across the incline. Careful when turning!
24. Watch for stumps and roots, which you can over!
25. Remove winded grass from the cutting head regularly!
26. The cutting head shall be inspected on a regular basis in short intervals. Shall there be any obvious
changes (vibration, noise), turn the trimmer immediately off. Holding it firmly, push it down against the
ground to stop it and, subsequently, disconnect the plug from the outlet. Check the cutting head – pay
attention to cracks.
27. Be careful not to get hurt by the device that is used for cutting the string off. Upon replacing the coil
with the string or upon extending the fiber, hold the trimmer in its normal work position and turn it on.
28. Replace a damaged cutting head immediately even in the case of just slight hair cracks. Do not attempt
to repair a damaged cutting head.
29. Disconnect the plug from the outlet after completing or suspending your work! Any maintenance
activities shall be done with the plug disconnected from the outlet. Conduct only those maintenance
activities that are described in the operating manual. All other works shall be done by an authorized
service personnel.
30. Clean the cooling air openings on the motor cover on a regular basis.
31. Use only original spare parts.
32. Use only original cutting heads and replacement coils. Never use metal grass cutting elements.
33. Clean plastic parts with a damp rag. Mechanical cleaning products could damage the plastic.
34. Never spray water on the trimmer!
35. Store the trimmer in a dry location.
Important instruction for retaining warranty:
•
Keep the air input openings clean, thus allowing cooling of the engine.
•
Do not work with a longer string than it is set by the cutting blade.
•
Use only strings with a maximum diameter of 1.4 mm and the original coil (ideally our original string).
•
Do not push the cutting head against the ground. You would be braking the running engine by doing so.
•
Prevent the cutting head from hitting hard surfaces. Such hits could result in the motor shaft losing its
balance.
•
Shall the cutting head hit something or be damaged in some other way, inspect the trimmer.
•
Do not use unoriginal blades, metal wire or similar items.
•
Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Repairs shall be conducted only by qualified workers, using only original spare parts. Only that will gua-
rantee a safe operation of the device.
