Basic information about the machine noise level: the work acoustic pressure level at a given operation
location can reach up to 85 dB(A). In this case, it is recommended to use personal protective equipment
for protecting you hearing (such as ear protectors).

Attention: When using power tools, the following basic safety measures shall be observed, thus preven-
ting injuries caused by electric current, other injuries and fi re. Prior to commencing work with the string
trimmer, read and carefully consider all these instructions. Keep these safety instructions safely stored.
The trimmers have been constructed in accordance with the latest technological knowledge and pur-
suant to the acknowledged safety and technical rules. Despite this fact, situations can occur during
their use, which can endanger the health and life of the given operator or of third persons, or which can
damage the trimmer or other material assets.
The trimmers can be used only in perfect technical conditions, for intended purposes, and in compliance
with the safety instructions and instructions related to possible hazards, while observing the instructions
included in the operating manual! Most of all, you need to correct (or have corrected) all defects that
could compromise safety immediately!
Carefully read this operating manual. In any case, observe the instructions related to possible hazards
and safety instructions.
Not complying with these instructions may endanger lives. You have to always comply with the injury
protection instructions. Read them prior to using this trimmer.
Grass trimmers have been designed exclusively for fi nal trimming of decorative lawns, i.e. lawn edges. Any
other use that exceeds the extent of the specifi ed usage, such as trimming hedges and bushes or large
lawn areas, is considered inappropriate use of the machine contrary to its purpose. The manufacturer/
supplier shall thus not be responsible for any damages caused by such incorrect use of the machine. The
risk for damages caused in this manner shall be fully the responsibility of the user. Correct use of the ma-
chine includes compliance with the operating manual and with the operation and maintenance conditions.
The trimmer operating manual shall be stored at the location where the trimmer is used.
A. General instructions
1. High speed rotations of the trimmer and the power lead represent an increased danger. That is why it
is necessary to comply with the special safety instructions while working with the trimmer.
2. Remove the plug from the outlet prior to conducting any work on the trimmer and prior to its cleaning
and transport. When the trimmer is not supervised, it shall be disconnected from electricity. Always
disconnect the plug from the outlet prior to maintenance, inspecting the power cable or repairing the
trimmer.
3. Users should let the seller or another expert to demonstrate safe handling of the trimmer.
4. Minors are not allowed to operate the trimmer. The trimmer can be given (lent) only to persons who
have been acquainted with its operation in detail. Always provide the operating manual together with
the trimmer. Minors under the age of 16 are not allowed to use the machine.
5. The trimmer user shall be responsible for third persons who are present at the machine work area.
6. People who operate the trimmer shall be healthy, rested and in a good physical shape. Do not forget
