to take timely breaks while working with the trimmer! Do not operate the trimmer if you are under the
influence of alcohol or narcotics.

7.    Do not make any modification of the trimmer and do not replace the nylon string by, for example,

a steel wire. You could endanger your health by doing so. The manufacturer shall not be responsible
for any damages incurred as a result of using the trimmer contrary to its purpose or as a result of un-
permitted modifications.

8.    Do not turn the trimmer on shall there be other persons, and especially children, or domestic animals

nearby.

9.    No other persons/ children or animals shall be present within a radius of 15 m from the trimmer since

rocks can bounce off from the cutting head.

10.  This machine shall not be used by persons (including children) with reduced psychical, sensory or

mental abilities and/or by persons with insufficient experience and/or by persons with insufficient
knowledge, with the exception of cases when such persons are supervised by a person who is re-
sponsible for their safety or if this person acquaints them with the use of the machine.

B. Operation instructions

The trimmer can only be used for cutting grass and weeds along walls, under fences, around trees and
columns, on stairs, paved paths and terraces, under bushes and hedges, on steep slopes, in the joints
among pavement stones, etc.

C. Safe operation instructions

1.    In the interest of a safe operation, it is recommended to power the trimmer via a residual-current device

with the maximum actuating current of 30 mA. You can obtain additional relevant information from an
electrician.

2.    Prior to every use of the trimmer, you have to inspect its correct operation and its prescribed safe

operation condition. Some of the most important parts to inspect include the power cord, extension
cord, plug, switch and the cutting head.

3.    Prior to every use, you need to make sure that the power cord and the extension cord do not show

any signs of being damaged or too old. Shall the cords be damaged or worn-off, the trimmer must
not be used.

4.    Shall the cord become damaged while working with the trimmer, the cable shall be immediately disco-

nnected from electricity. Do not touch the cable until it is disconnected.

5.    Attention! Danger! The cutting elements keep moving for a while when the motor is turned off. As

a result, there is a risk of finger and toe injuries!

6.    Use only cables that comply with the corresponding regulations. Plugs and connection pieces of the

extension cables shall be protected against splattering water. The trimmer can be operated only with
its protective device in a perfect condition. Special attention shall be paid to a firm attachment of the
cutting head.

7.   Do not use damaged cables, connection pieces, plugs and cutting heads.
8.   You can start the motor only when no arms or legs are positioned nearby the cutting elements.
9.    When working with the trimmer, wear protective glasses or another eye protection aid, boots with solid

and coarse soles, snug work clothing, gloves and ear protection.

10.  Careless operation of the trimmer can result in the cutting elements causing arm and leg injuries.
11.  Always hold the trimmer firmly with both hands – maintain a stable and safe position.
12.  When using the trimmer, remain calm and maintain your composure. Work only under good lighting

and visibility conditions and do not endanger others! Work carefully!

13.  Always handle the extension cord in a way that the cable does not become damaged and does not

obstruct you in your work.
