Logging
With the button, you can select for certain devices whether data of the device should be
recorded on the memory card inserted in the EasyNO
ₓ
. The EasyNO
ₓ
currently does not sup-
port devices that optionally allow the recording of trend data. For an added NO
X
monitor, the
recording of data on the memory card inserted in the EasyNO
ₓ
is firmly preset and cannot be
deactivated.
–
Add
With the button you open the dialog
Add Device
. You can find more information in the sec-
tion
Adding a Device
–
Delete
Tap this button to delete an added device. You can find more information in the section
Deleting a Device
on page 86.
–
Device Activation
As a rule, all devices with which you have purchased the EasyNO
ₓ
are activated ex works.
You can activate additional devices in the EasyNO
ₓ
with software dongles from MOTORTECH.
There is more information in the section
Device Activation
Back up
button, you can save all device activations to a USB flash drive (e.g. before software up-
dates). A device-specific software dongle is stored on the USB flash drive for each activated
device, including those activated ex works. If necessary, you can re-activate the devices with
these software dongles.
–
Binary Outputs
In this area, use the
Unlock
button to activate the binary outputs
Warning
and
Error
of the
EasyNO
ₓ
. Use the
Lock
button to deactivate them. In order to use the activated binary out-
puts
Warning
and
Error
with other devices, they must each be linked to a binary output of
the optionally available I/O communication module (see section
Binary Outputs
on page
124). The status displays
Warning
and
Error
indicate the switching status of these binary
outputs. Additionally, you can switch the binary outputs
Warning
and
Error
on and off for
testing purposes. To do so, use the
Test
button to open the
Binary Output Test
window. In
this window, you can switch the binary outputs and thereby test the behavior of the devices
that are connected to the binary outputs. The NO
X
monitor of the EasyNO
ₓ
indicates ex-
ceedances of the provisional daily average via the binary outputs
Warning
and
Error
(see
section
Overview
on page 101).
Operational safety!
The EasyNO
ₓ
and the software are not designed for safety-critical applica-
tions. The binary inputs and outputs of the EasyNO
ₓ
system must not be
used for safety-critical purposes.
