6 Getting started
This chapter describes the basic settings required for the
initial startup.
All other functions, such as the configuration of graphical
overlays or external sensors and control leads are
described in the Chapter"Advanced features" on page 29.
The following basic settings are required for the operation:
• Selection of the menu language
• Selection of the number of cameras
• Selection of the image format
• Input of the vehicle dimensions
• Calibrating the system
• Saving the basic settings
PLEASE NOTE
In order to maintain the settings after the system is
restarted, the settings must be saved in the video control
unit after a change.
See chapter "Saving the settings" on page 28.
6.1 Language selection
1. Select
the menu “
... / Language
" and press the
button to confirm the selection.
2. The relevant language
is selected.
3. Use the
to confirm
your selection.
4. Press the
button to
leave the menu.

6.2 Basic set 270° or 360°
The camera arrangement depends on whether 3 (270°
system) or 4 cameras (360° system) are installed on the
vehicle.
• When using the MVS 270° system, the front or the front
or rear-view camera must be deactivated.
