Maintenance
Be sure to follow the procedure below when performing daily maintenance.
• Components maintained this way:
Cleaning
Disinfection
Sterilization
Packing
Take out the fi le before cleaning the fi le holder.
Other than the components listed above, refer to page 23 “Disinfection” for how to disinfect
components.
If a medical agent being used for the treatment has
adhered to the components, wash it off in running
water.
Do not clean the components ultrasonically.
After washing is complete, check to see if the fi le hold-
er or long fi le holder, including its inside, is completely
dry. If any water remains inside the component, expel
it with an air gun or another such tool. Failure to do so
could result in the remaining water coming out during
use and cause malfunction or poor sterilization.
If dust or other impurities adhere to the hook of the
fi le holder or long fi le holder, they may cause malfunc-
tion.
Do not use the high-temperature washer-disinfector.

Cleaning
1. Disconnect the fi le holder, long fi le holder and contrary
electrode from the probe cord.
2. Clean them off in running water with a soft brush and
then wipe off the water.
