Operating the Digifold
Setting the Delivery Conveyor System.
WARNING:-
The Digifold will start if the delivery unit is not fitted onto the machine. not
Turning the delivery system ‘on’ or ‘off’
Adjusting the Roller Position and Shingle Length. (See FIG 19.1)
1. Set the Set Up switch to its mid-position.
2. Turn the Setting Dial until the display reads ‘dELrY’ on or off.
3. Flick the Set Up switch upwards to toggle between ‘on’ and ‘off’.
If the delivery is turned off the roller will feed to the far end of the belt conveyor and park
there until turned on again.
If the delivery is turned on when using the ‘Set by Fold’ mode of operation; the Roller
Position (rPoS) and Shingle Length (Shin) are automatically set, relative to the paper
length and type of fold selected.
1. Flick the Set Up switch down.
2. Turn the Setting Dial anti-clockwise to ‘rPoS’ (roller position), or
‘Shin’ (shingle length) as required.
3. Press and hold pushbutton PB1 and turn the Setting Dial, the numbers
displayed are pre selected lengths in millimeters (to reduce setting times).
4. When the optimum settings for ‘rPoS’ and ‘Shin’ are achieved they can be
stored with the job (see Storing Programs on page 22).
When using the ‘Set by Position’ mode of operation; the Roller Position (rPoS) and Shingle
Length (Shin) must be adjusted manually to suit the job, as described below.
