F. Run the White/Green wire to the

headlight switch. Gently pull on the
dash assembly to access the rear
of the headlight switch.

Ram (DR)

- Connect the supplied

White/Green

jumper

wire into the

harness White/Green wire and
center-splice into the vehicle White/
Green wire in cavity #8 of the 8-way
headlight connector.

G. Locate the Dk Green/Violet wire in

pin #6 of the 6-way white connec-
tor, found at the base of the steer-
ing wheel. Center-splice the
harness Dk Green/Violet wire into
this wire, following the center-splice
procedure on page 7.

H. Route the two remaining wires (Black/

White and Blue/Green ) through the
cowl panel and into the engine com-
partment through an existing grommet.

I. Using the supplied butt connector,

connect the Black/White wire to the
remaining wire from the hood safety
switch.

Durango (HB)

- Connect the

supplied

Pink/Red

jumper

wire

into the harness White/Green wire
and center-splice into the vehicle
Pink/Red wire in cavity #1of the 10-
way headlight connector.

Dakota (ND)

- Connect the sup-

plied

Pink/Red

jumper

wire into

the harness White/Green wire and
center-splice into the vehicle Pink/
Red wire in cavity #1of the 10-way
headlight connector. Reach behind
the switch and disconnect for
easier connection.
