B. Connect the harness 14-way female
connector to the vehicle’s ignition
switch.
C. Connect the harness 14-way male
connector to the vehicle’s 14-way
ignition connector previously removed
from the ignition switch.
D. Using an existing vehicle screw or
supplied 1/4” self tapping screw, secure
the black ground wire with ring terminal
to the left side of the metal under dash
cross-brace as shown in diagram or
metal vehicle bracket.

Install Custom Harness.
A. Locate ignition switch connector, at the
rear left side of the steering column.
Release the red secondary lock.
While pushing on main release,
remove connector from ignition switch.
E. Run the harness White/Tan wire to the
brake switch.
Ram (DR)
- center-splice to White/Tan
wire in cavity #2 of the 6-way brake
connector.
Caution: Do not remove the
brake lamp switch from the
mounting bracket. If the switch
is removed from the mounting
bracket, it MUST be replaced
with a new switch.

Durango (HB)
- center-splice to White/
Tan wire in cavity #2 of the 6-way brake
connector.
Dakota (ND)
- center-splice to White/
Blue wire in cavity #2 of the 6-way brake
connector.
Caution: Keep wire away from
exposed steering column!
