Changing the Camera's Orientation (Up/Down)

This camera's orientation can be swapped so that it captures
images and records video with the correct orientation when the
camera is mounted upside down. Perform the following steps to
change the orientation:

1.

Power the camera ON.

2.

Press the

Power/Mode

button

repeatedly until the

Set

mode is

displayed.

3.

Press the

Shutter

button to enter the

Set

mode menu.

4.

Press the

Shutter

button again to enter

the

Setup

menu.

5.

Press the

Power/Mode

button

repeatedly to move the highlight to the

Up/Down

icon.

6.

Press the

Shutter

button to enter the

Up/Down

menu.

7.

Press the

Power/Mode

button repeatedly to highlight the

OFF or ON option. When set to OFF, the camera will
capture normally, while when set to ON,
it will record video and capture photos
inverted 180° from normal, allowing the
camera to be mounted upside down.

Note: The WVGA video resolution does not support inverted
capture.

8.

Press the

Shutter

button to confirm your selection.
