The camera includes a waterproof case and several T Tip mounting
accessories.
Using the Waterproof Case
Notes Concerning the Waterproof Case
•
The camera and other components are only waterproof
when properly enclosed in the waterproof case. Do not
otherwise subject this device to water or moisture of any
kind. If the camera is exposed to moisture outside of the
waterproof case or if water gets into the waterproof case,
immediately remove the battery and allow the camera to
thoroughly dry.
•
The waterproof case is not dust-proof.
•
The waterproof case is rated IP8X for depths up to 196 feet
(60 meters) for up to 60 minutes. Do not take this device to
depths greater than 196 feet (60 meters) or keep it
underwater for more than 60 minutes.
•
The waterproof case's waterproof properties apply only to
fresh or salt water. Any other liquids should be flushed off
with running tap water and then wiped off with a soft, dry,
lint-free cloth.
•
When using the camera in cold or humid environments, use
the included anti-fog inserts to help prevent the build-up of
moisture inside the waterproof case. Note that the anti-fog
inserts can provide only a limited amount of moisture
protection and must be replaced after each use.
