Manual Air Leveling
Manual Air Leveling Operation:
• Set the parking brake and start the engine. Ensure the front wheels are pointing straight ahead. Allow
the air system to build to full air pressure, approximately 135 psi. The leveling system operates more
effi ciently using the high-idle feature.
• Press the
AIR
button once to turn the leveling system on. The Air indicator light and four red warning
lights will glow steady.
• Press the individual Raise or Lower buttons (
UP
or
DOWN
arrows) to raise or lower the position indicated
in relation to the motorhome icon.
• A yellow light indicates the side, end or corner of the motorhome is low. Lower the opposite side or end
of motorhome to achieve level. If a level position cannot be achieved by lowering, raise the motorhome
according to light yellow lights.
• Turn the ignition and control panel off.
• The system will not enter sleep mode and auto level if the coach was leveled in the manual level mode.
NOTE:
Level the motorhome side-to-side before leveling the motorhome front to rear.
Dump Button:
With the engine running, press and hold the
Dump
button located on the leveling control panel. The system will
release air from the air springs and lower the suspension. When the button is released, the suspension will slowly
return to normal ride height.
With the engine off, press and hold the
Dump
button to release all air from the air springs and lower the
suspension. Only air in the air springs is released. The air system will remain charged.
CAUTION:
Never lower the suspension and attempt to travel or turn. Body and suspension damage will
result.
Raise Button:
With the engine running, and the system at full air pressure, press and hold the
Raise
button. The system will
add air to the springs raising the suspension. When the button is released, the suspension will slowly return to
normal ride height.
NOTE:
The motorhome will raise approximately 4”. This is helpful when negotiating driveways.
CAUTION:
Do not rely solely upon the travel light. It is the motorhome operator’s responsibility ensure
the air suspension system is ready for travel.
