1) Switch power to the instrument off and then remove the power cord from the
outlet and from the SPECTRAmax 340PC power cord receptacle.
2) Remove the printer cable and computer cable (if connected) from the back of
the SPECTRAmax 340PC.
3) Turn the instrument around for easy access to the rear panel.
4) On the left-hand side of the rear panel (viewed from the back) is the power
cord receptacle. As shown in Figure 4.2, insert a small, flat-blade screwdriver
into the slot behind the tongue at the right of the black plastic cover. Gently
pry the cover open. It will begin to slide forward.

5) Continue gently prying the fuse box forward until you can pull it free of
the instrument. When removed, the fuse assembly will appear as shown in
Figure 4.3.

6) Once the fuse box is out, you will see a holder inside containing two fuses.
Pull the fuse holder out of the box (see Figure 4.4).
