Recommended
Cycles
The recommended
number of times that
the entire purging
process should be
repeated.
• Displayed in the bottom left of the
Purge wizard.
• Although this value should be
followed by the operator, it does not
restrict the amount of cycles that
can be done.

The operator has the option to finish
the process early based on their
discretion.
• The maximum setting for
Recommended Cycles is five cycles.
•
If five cycles seems to be insufficient
for your tool, please contact your
supplier for further advice.
Soak Time
The wait period that
the operator is to hold
the purge material in
the barrel and mold.
• Only available when Chemical purge
is active.
• The maximum value for this setting
is 10 minutes.
6.8.5 Record a Color Purge Cycle
At the end of a satisfactory purge run, the parameters are displayed along
with an option to print them out.
Choose [
Exit
] to leave the screen.
