Notice:

It is possible, that configuration data of an old software version becomes invalid,

because of larger modifications in the software. Therefore it is important to
check the settings of the clock after each software update. If needed, the ETC
has to be configured completely new. Don't forget to save the correct
configuration into the flash memory afterwards (chapter 17.7.1).

Saves current ETC configurations and the switch program in the flash memory.

Notice:

Loading the configuration from the flash memory into the RAM also takes place
automatically after an update of the system software.

17.8 Remote Download

Where there is a connection to a PC via the RS232 interface, files (system software,
switch program and season table) can be downloaded from the PC without any
manipulation on the ETC. In this case, the RS232 interface is reserved exclusively for
file downloads.
