7.2 Software update of the MSW1
To read the actual software version of the Farmpacker M100T use following procedure:
1. Power down.
2. Power up, and as the display show any text Press upper left corner and lower right corner and the
software version appears on screen.
To update the Farmpacker M100T a special SD-card is needed with an SPI protocol loaded.
NOTE
a
Do not use a regular SD-card.
1. Switch main power off.
2. Check if the Switch SW5-2 is set to On, see fig. 25 (3).
3. Place the card in the card holder See fig. 25 (2).
NOTE

Do not use Software versions 3+ on the old MSW1 (7801057) Boards
4. Switch main power on
5. LED FPGA Status start to flash rapidly See fig. 26 (5)
6. Now the program is copied from the SD-card.
7. The transfer of the program is finished as the LED FPGA Status start to blink slowly See fig. 26 (5).
8. Switch main power off
9. Remove the SD-card from its slot!
NOTE
a
A half removed SD-card will create an error!
10.Switch the main power back on.
