High-mounted stop lamp (bulb type)*

1. Open the tailgate.

(Refer to “Tailgate” on page 1-14)

2. Insert a straight blade (or minus) screwdriver

with a cloth over its tip at the edge of the cov-
er and pry gently to remove the cover (A).

3. Push the 4 hooks (B) and remove the lamp

unit. (Close the tailgate to cause the lamp
unit to come out.)

4. Gently close the tailgate, remove the lamp

unit, and turn the socket anticlockwise to re-
move it.

5. Pull the bulb out of the socket.

6. To install the bulb, perform the removal

steps in reverse.
