Faint or blurred printing
Check the control panel.
If the
Toner low Clean printer
message is displayed and the indicator is flashing, install a
new toner kit. See Section 4.1 .
Set the print density from the control panel to a higher level than the current setting. See Section 2.14 .
Make sure the Paper Type setting is correct.
Check the Draft setting.
See Section 2.12 .
Cleaning the drum surface
To clean the drum surface, proceed as follows.
1. Press the
MODE
key.
2. Press the
+
or
-
key repeatedly until the message display indicates
>Others.
3. Press the key.
4. Press the
+
or
-
key repeatedly until the message display indicates
>Sevice >.
5. Press the key.
6. Press the
+
and
-
keys to display
>>Drum.
7. Pressing the
ENTER
key will cause
?
to be displayed.
8. Press the
ENTER
key. The drum then starts turning and stops after approx. 3minutes.
The printer then reverts to
Ready.

Check the control panel.

Display the print density menu from the control panel and select a lighter density setting. See Section 2.14 .
