Where there are more options available than there is room for on the display,
the symbols

are used to indicate that other options exist to the left
and right respectively. Using the appropriate joystick move
W X
will reveal
those options.
If an option is not licensed, e.g. 2D DVE, it will not be displayed on the front
panel menu.
Front Panel Tallies
To highlight the state of either the AB Mixer (video/audio) or the keyers,
additional symbols are shown on the top line of the front panel display at the
right hand edge. These symbols represent:

Source A
B Source B
- Intermediate state, transition being processed.
↑
Image/voice-over keyed up (to air)
↓
Image/voice-over keyed down (from air)
B Fade to Black
S Fade to Silence
Escape and Enter Joystick Selections
Selecting escape is used to proceed to a menu option closer to the boot-up
menu. Successive pressing of escape will bring the display to the start-up
menu.
Selecting
enter is used to accept the menu item currently shown as selected
by being enclosed in brackets.
Left and Right Joystick Arrows
Left and right joystick arrows W X may be used to index left and right
respectively along a displayed menu branch to select a function. When a
selection of parameters is offered, these keys may be used to select a
variable. Where a single value is displayed the left arrow may be used to
reduce the displayed value and the right arrow may be used to increase it.
