Troubleshooting
Fault Conditions
The RIO-S is preprogrammed with a number of fault conditions which trigger whenever the
system is running atypically. The faults are classified as either hard or soft faults. Hard
faults automatically shut the system down and require a power cycle to reset the system.
Soft faults try to resolve themselves and automatically restart the system a number of
times before requiring a power cycle reset.
