Color PagePro Ex Print Options for Windows
CMYK Simulation
SWOP-Coated/DIC/
Euroscale/None
(None is the default)
CMYK simulation settings can be used to
simulate popular offset printing press stan-
dards.
Select SWOP-Coated to simulate printing to
a standard American offset press; Euroscale
to simulate a European offset press, or DIC
to simulate a standard Japanese offset press.

ColorWise Business
Color
(only for Windows 95/98) Before an RGB image can be printed, the
file’s color data must be converted to the
printer’s CMYK color space. Color render-
ing dictionaries allow you to apply optimal
gamut mapping methods to text, photo-
graphs and illustrations.
ColorWise Business Color specifies the
application of the Presentation color render-
ing dictionary to photographic illustration
and text objects in a document. Use this
option if you are printing documents created
in office applications that include color
charts or mixed graphic and text elements.
Note: When ColorWise Business Color is
selected CRD settings are disabled.
ColorWise Expert
Mode
(only for Windows 95/98)
ColorWise Expert Mode enables CRD set-
tings. You may select any combination of
these settings to customize the printing of
text graphic and illustration objects in your
documents. Use this option if you are print-
ing documents with a natural range of colors
as in a continuous tone photograph.
