Wing Fairings

Parts) wing fairings, masking tape

Remove paper on the marked side of each fairing and perform 45-degree bevel cuts on the long

edges. Deeply bevel/sand the sharp tip so that the fairing mates properly against the fuselage.

If the wing is to be removable, apply masking tape on the wing as shown below, to avoid gluing

the fairings to the wing. Tightly secure the wing with the rubber band.

Perform dry fits of both fairings. The rear corner of each fairing should align with the trailing

edge of the wing. The fairings may need to be molded slightly near the front to meet the curved
surface of the wing.
