may slip when it is being cranked up.

point next to the wheel well.

A vehicle that is raised on a jack may fall
off of the jack if lateral forces are exerted

raised, do not exert lateral effort on the ve-
hicle or pull abruptly on the vehicle. Have
a stuck wheel removed by a dealer’s serv-
ice center or another qualified service cen-
ter or repair shop.

Incorrect handling of the jack can damage
the vehicle's underbody and expose high-
voltage components. There is a risk of in-
jury or risk of damage to property. When
cranking up the jack, ensure that it is in-
serted in the jacking point next to the
wheel well. Make sure not to damage any
of the underbody parts.
Securing the vehicle against rolling
away
General information
The vehicle manufacturer recommends to
additionally secure the vehicle against roll-
ing away when changing a wheel.
