– The test program automatically detects whether or not an optional interface is available
for E5 or L9 and runs the corresponding test routine.

There are cable options for which not all interface lines are used. These
are not checked by the test program. In this case, you can ignore the error
messages triggered by this.
Important!

The test software sends a switching signal to the configured output when
interface A9 is used (4-20mA/0-10V). This interface can be checked using LED
indicators. The LEDs must then flash. One or the other LEDs flashes depending
on the interface configuration (current or voltage output).
– The service technician can make a visual inspection during the display test.
– Each key can be checked for problem-free functioning during the keypad test.
It must be possible to clearly feel and hear the click action of the key.

Using
the

key for Combics 1 or the
c
key for Combics 1, the display or
the keypad test can be canceled at any time.
– A test adapter must be inserted for the COM 1 interface test
– A test adapter is also required for the test of optional interfaces
– The test of the internal clock takes place automatically.
