to select the type of auto cleaning.
•
There are “DEFAULT”, “PAGE”, “LENGTH” and
“TIME” for auto cleaning.
DEFAULT : When the set cleaning timing has
been reached, the machine performs
head cleaning automatically.
FILE : When the set number of prints has
been completed, the machine
performs head cleaning
automatically.
LENGTH : When the set length has passed, the
machine performs head cleaning
automatically.
TIME : When the set time has passed, the
machine performs head cleaning
automatically.
• If you have selected “DEFAULT”, proceed to Step 8.

select the cleaning interval.
• Depending on the auto cleaning type selected in
the Step 3, the setting value differs.
For FILE : 1 to 1000 file
For LENGTH : 0.1 to 100.0m (in 0.1m increment)
For TIME : 10 to 480min (in 10min increment)

to select the cleaning type.
• Set Value : NORMAL/ SOFT/HARD

to select “Cleaning Check”.

• Set Value : ON/ OFF
• If you have selected “FILE” st step 5, proceed to
Step 12.

to select “EXEC.TIMING”.

• There are “END OF FILE” and “PRINTING” for set
values.
END OF FILE : Carries out the cleaning
operations between files after the
cleaning interval configured
under “LENGTH” or “TIME” in
Step 6 has passed.
PRINTING : Stops printing and starts the
cleaning operation immediately
after the cleaning interval
configured under “LENGTH” or
“TIME” in Step 6 has passed.

Setting Interval wiping
When the set time has passed, nozzle face of the head is
cleaned automatically to remove ink droplets on the
nozzle face.
In case that deflection, nozzle missing, or symptom which
ink droplets fall down occurred, set the interval between
each operation shorter.

and press the key.
• SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press to select “INTERVAL
WIPING”, and press the key.

Press to set intervals.
• Set Value : 3 to 255 Minutes, OFF
• When [OFF] is set, periodical wiping is not
executed.

end the setting.
• Depending on the state of the heads, etc., the image
quality deterioration may not be improved even with
this function performed.In this case, contact our
service office or the distributor in your region.
