Chapter 2 Basic Operation

Mounting the fabric roller

When printing on a loose fabric, the ink remained on the
back of the fabric may attach to the tension roller, and the
ink may stain the fabric media.
With the fabric roller mounted, the stain of the fabric
media can be avoided by the roller removing the attached
ink to the tension roller.

Remove the fabric roller.

• The fabric roller is at the under of the tension

roller.

Wrap a fabric around the fabric roller.

• As shown on the bellow, fit a fabric with the roller.

Secure the fabric and the roller with an adhesive
tape.

(2)

Wrap the fabric around the roller, and secure with an
adhesive tape.

Mount the fabric roller with the fabric
wrapped.

• Mount the fabric roller in the slot on the back of

the tension roller.

• Fit the shaft holder into the slot on both sides of

the fabric roller.
Adjust the bearing position on both ends of the
fabric roller.
Loosen the screw of the bearing so that the fabric
roller contacts the tension roller.

Turn the tension roller manually, and check
it turns smoothly.

• If the tension roller does not turn smoothly, check

the mounted position of the fabric roller.

• Fabric is not wrapped around the fabric roller

before shipping. Prepare the well-absorbed fabric
with the following size.

• Material:Cotton sheeting, cotton broardcloth or the

like
