Enlarge the irradiation area of the post cure
When performing UV curing on the image drawn by using the Post Cure Unit, the drawing range and the UV
irradiation area with the Post Cure Unit narrow compared to those when not using the Post Cure Unit. (

By performing the work below, you can enlarge the irradiation area of the post cure and the drawing range.
To enlarge the UV irradiation area with the Post Cure Unit, the setting below is required:
Set [DRAWING RANGE] of the maintenance function to “after print”. (

• If you set it to “Cure Print”, you cannot enlarge the printing area and the UV irradiation area.

Set irradiation after drawing with [POST CURE] of the setting items. (
P.3-26)
• Register the number of post cure irradiations and the size (length) of the image to be drawn with [POST
CURE-after print] of the setting items.

Perform drawing.
• When drawing is completed, the screen on the right is displayed.

Align the top edge of the image with the
post cure irradiation position (front
edge).
• The front edge of the post cure irradiation position
is the position of 150mm from the origin.
• If you do not set [DRAWING RANGE] of the maintenance function to “after print”, you cannot enlarge
the UV irradiation area of the post cure.
• Register the number of post cure irradiations and the image size (length) with [POST CURE-after
print] of the setting items depending on the image to be drawn. If the image size does not match, UV
irradiation with the post cure cannot be performed on the drawn position, or, UV irradiation may be
performed on the place without the media.
