2.3. Placement
DecalMATE unit can now be positioned in its final place of use. Make sure that the unit is level.
Check that the metal tray used to collect the eventual overflow of reagents is in the right position.
During the setup, the DecalMATE must be disconnected from the main power supply.
2.3.1. Unit overview
To open the CAVITY cover: flip up the cover.
To close the CAVITY cover: place white cover lid over the cavity, aligning the BLUE ARROW HEAD etching
on the cover with the external linear marker (Magnetic safety switch for unit to function).
A location of the DecalMATE is near and connected to any fume extractor system using
the hose supplied. Make sure the unit is not placed against any back surface limiting the
air flow inlet/exhaust.
It is important that the arrow on the cover matches the pit on the tray otherwise the sensor
that checks the perfect closing of the cover doesn’t function.
