Adding and dispensing chemical agents

52

Cleaning agent

Risk of damage due to unsuitable cleaning agents.

Using unsuitable cleaning agents, such as a cleaning agent for a
domestic dishwasher, will mean that the reprocessing result is not
as expected.
Only use cleaning agents suitable for reprocessing air regulators
and breathing masks.

You can use the machine with powder cleaning agent or dispense li-
quid cleaning agent via an external dispensing module.

Dispensing modules are fitted by the Miele Customer Service Depart-
ment and can be retrospectively fitted at any time.

Miele recommends dispensing liquid cleaning agent.

Dispensing liquid cleaning agent using an external dispensing mod-
ule is pre-set ex-works.
It is not possible to dispense powder and liquid cleaning agent at
the same time. If you wish to dispense powder cleaning agent,
contact the Customer Service Department.
Do not fill the dispenser in the door with cleaning agent if dispens-
ing is performed using an external dispensing module.

For cleaning specific types of soiling, and for information on the op-
timum cleaning agents and additives to use for liquid dispensing,
please contact the Miele Customer Service Department.

Replenishing li-
quid cleaning
agent

Liquid cleaning agent is dispensed from an external container, e.g. a
canister.

Place the liquid cleaning agent container (blue marking) on the open
chamber door or on a surface which is robust and easy to clean.

Take the lid off the canister and remove the suction lance. Place the
suction lance on the open wash cabinet door.

Replace the empty container with a full one.

Push the suction lance into the opening of the container and secure
the lid. Observe the colour coding.
