Carrier frames for compressed air units

Pre-cleaning the
carrier frame

Take the carrier frame.

Check whether the carrier frame requires manual pre-cleaning, e.g.
to remove soot, and carry this out in line with the manufacturer’s in-
structions.

Prepare the carrier frame for machine reprocessing in line with the
manufacturer’s instructions; for example, secure the valves and
electronic components against water penetration.

Inserting the car-
rier frame

The APFD 203 insert can hold 1 carrier frame at a time. If there are
several carrier frames, these need to be reprocessed in succession.

Due to the height of the APFD 203 insert, it is not possible to use an
upper basket.

Remove the upper basket from the machine and put this to one
side.

Place the carrier frame in the front part of the insert and lean the
carrier frame diagonally against the support grid in the rear part of
the insert. The carry straps must then point downwards.

Carry straps that point upwards can get caught in the machine

spray arm and affect the cleaning result or can tear off the spray
arm or damage the machine when the insert is removed.

Ensure that the carry straps hang downwards. This is the only way
to ensure the wash water cleans and rinses them completely.

Lift the insert at the side handles and place the insert in the lower
basket of the machine.
