Baking
99
Eating food which has been cooked
correctly is important for preventing
food poisoning or other ailments.
Only bake cakes, pizza, chips etc.
until they are golden brown. Do not
overcook them.
Functions
Depending on how the food is to be
cooked, you have a choice of the
following functions:
– M Chef + Fan Plus
– M Chef + Intensive Bake
– M Chef + Moisture Plus
– M Chef + Conventional Heat
– Fan Plus
– Intensive Bake
– Moisture Plus
– Conventional Heat
Useful tip:
For cakes and bread we
recommend using the M Chef functions
and for small items like biscuits we
recommend Fan Plus or Conventional
Heat.
Alternatively you can use an
Automatic programme. Use the Dialog
oven cookbook for guidance.
Bakeware
The choice of bakeware depends on
the oven function and how the food is
prepared. It is best to use metal baking
tins if possible. Baking tins made from
silicone, glass or ceramic may prevent
the underside browning sufficiently.

:
Baking tray, universal tray, bakeware
made from any ovenproof material.

Conventional Heat
:
Dark bakeware with a matte finish.
Avoid using bright, shiny metal tins
as they give an uneven and poor
browning result and in some cases
cakes might not cook properly.
– Always place bakeware on the rack.
Position rectangular tins with the
longer side across the width of the
rack for optimum heat distribution
and even baking results.
– Bake cakes with fruit toppings or
deep cakes on the universal tray.
