Vanilla biscuits
Preparation time: 110 minutes
Makes 45 (1 glass tray)
For the dough
140 g plain white flour
100 g butter | softened
40 g caster sugar
50 g ground almonds
For dusting
8 tsp. vanilla sugar
For the glass tray
1 tbsp. butter

Preparation
Knead together the flour, butter, sugar
and almonds to a smooth dough. Chill
the dough for around 30 minutes.
Grease the glass tray. Break the dough
into small pieces weighing approx. 7 g
each. Roll the pieces and then shape
them into crescents, placing them on
the glass tray.
Start the Automatic programme or pre-
heat the oven.
Place the vanilla biscuits in the oven
and bake until pale yellow.
Dust with vanilla sugar while still warm.
