B: Check and verify that the power su pply is providing :
+5V +/- 0 . 1 V
+ 1 2V +/- 0 . 5V
-5V
+/- 0.25V
C: Check and verify that the above listed D.C. voltages are present at the correct JAMMA con nector
pins. Refer to the cabi net wiring d iagram for specific wiring information.
D: Check and verify that the game volume has been tu rned up.
E: Verify proper operation of game PCB assembly by replacing it with a known good game PCB
assembly.
5: Video game appears non-functional.
A: Check and verify that the JAM MA wire harness con nector is fi rmly and properly seated to the
mati ng JAMMA PCB edge con nector.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE OR INSTALL
JAMMA CONNECTOR WHEN POWER IS TURNED
ON. DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE GAME CPU
ASSEMBLY AND VOID THE WARRANTY.
B: Check and verify that the D . C . power su pply voltages at the game C P U assembly are set as
follows:
+5V: +4. 9V to +5. 1 V
+ 1 2V: + 1 1 . 5V to + 1 2 . 5V
-5V: -4 . 75V to -5 .25V
The a bove voltages should be set when the game C P U assembly is con nected and the game is
powered o n .
C: Check and verify that t h e n o n JAM MA con nectors are attached a t t h e proper location a n d are
fi rmly seated.
D: Verify that the game C P U assembly completes the power on self test seq uence. Note any errors
and/or fa i l u res d u ring power on self test. The game C P U assembly should complete the power on
d iag nostics without error.
E: Check and verify that the game C P U D I P Switches are set properly . Review the switch
configuration information from Section One.

The video screen exhibits complete loss of SYNC or consistent horizontal tearing.
Th is game uses a M E D I U M Resolution, 25Khz scan rate mon itor. Ensure that the mon itor used is
compatible with this req uirement. Use of a standard video game LOW Resol ution mon itor will
resu lt i n what appears to be horizontal teari ng or complete loss of sy nc.
