CPU Board Test
The C P U Board Test ( mu ch like the Start-u p Test) al lows the operator to check the RAMs and ROMs.
H ig h l ig ht the CPU Board Test with the Vol u me U p or Vol u me Down Button then, press the Test Button.
When th is test is activated , a "rug" pattern appears on the screen . The screen then changes to show the
layout of the RAMs and ROMs on the C P U . Any chip that is shown as g ray with a white outl i ne and
should turn green d u ring the C P U Te�t. D u ring the test, chips are good if they turn g reen; they are fau lty if
they turn red . The game automatically returns to the D iag nostic Men u .
Sound Board Test
The Sound Test allows listening to some of the sounds that
Cruis'n' World
is capable of prod uci ng .
T o enter the test, press t h e Volu me U p or Volu me Down Button t o high light the Sou nd Board Test, then
press the Test Button.
Press the Volu me Up Button to change the music selection . Press the Volume Down Button to trigger a
sou nd effect. Press the Service Cred it Button to exit to the D iag nostic Men u .
Linking Test
The Linking Test checks the l i n king between games.
To enter the test, press the Volu me Up or Vol u me Down Button to high l ight the Linking Test then, press
the Test Button.
